The RPB Strikers recreational program is available to any player born between 2006 and 2020, regardless of experience and/or ability.
The program is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. The purpose of our recreational program is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the game, and develop skills and a love for the game in a safe environment.
The RPB Strikers recreational program also serves as a developmental league for players seeking to progress to the club's competitive program.
The RPB Strikers recreational program operates as an intra-club league playing games at the Katz Soccer Complex.
The club's recreational program policy requires that each player must play at least 50% of each game except for reasons of injury, illness, or discipline. This policy is closely monitored and strictly enforced.
The RPB Strikers Board of Directors closely monitors the conduct of its players, coaches, parents and volunteers. Any parties found to be in violation of the club's and/or FYSA's expected conduct will be sanctioned in accordance with a ZERO TOLERANCE policy.

Teams
Players are evaluated and then assigned to a team using a system of rostering players to establish a fair or balanced distribution of playing talent among all teams participating. Players will be assigned in a random manner within their appropriate age group - as opposed to “competitive soccer” where the players are selected to be on a team through some sort of tryout or selection process. The use of tryouts, invitations, recruiting or any similar process to roster players to any team on the basis of talent or ability is prohibited. Teams will be gender specific or co-ed.
Coaching Staff
Recreational coaches are wonderful volunteers who receive guidance and materials from our Director of Coaching. Each team coach will choose their teams practice nights and times based on field availability. All teams will normally have 2 practices per week; Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs. The team coach will receive their roster roughly one week prior to the first practice session and will contact all of the team's players to set up the practices.
Recreational Program Uniforms
New uniforms are ordered and purchased after regular registration. They are distributed to the players during the week of the first game. Uniforms ordered after regular registration are not guaranteed to arrive prior to first game.
